I guess that in that case we pay for the game... I think he talks only about games with serial keys

Then what if I downloaded Oblivion or Fallout 3, both of which don't require CD keys?

If you can't draw the line or figure it out to keep it from being shady, then you need to pay full price for the game. Fallout 3 only needs an activation key for Live/DLC access true, I played offline till I wanted DLC, then I had to purchase a legitmate key on top of the hardcopy I purchased on release day (from which my fiance took the key :D ). This site won't hold your hand, you buy the key, from there it's not there concern how you get the game, how you use the key that does not activate via Steam/EA Downloader, that is your concern. If you want to take the shady route and risk downloading an ISO that might have a virus loaded crack go right ahead, if you know a friend that has the game, and you purchased an original, legitmate key from this site, then you can use his disk to install your legitmate copy that is activated with your legitimate key. If that's a hassle, then paying full price for a game + packaging from the store is the way to go for ya. There are solutions, there are shady and grey areas, that is your choice to take. So what if you downloaded those games that don't require CD Keys? Don't buy a CD key and don't advertise it if doing that is your thing, use some common sense and do the right thing, and that site can save you money and get you in the games you want to play, it's treated me well, I brought this up here as something I have had good luck with and feel good about sharing, if you can't figure out the rules yet, then maybe this isn't something for you. It's not complicated until you make it such or decide to do something stupid and risky. So I hope this helps some of you get a game you wanted but didn't feel was worth the full 50 bucks or was waiting to find for a cheaper price, that's where it strikes as a perfect application for me, I'm hoping the library grows substantially on the Steam/Ea downloader section...and I wish I would've waited till I found that site so I didn't pay 40 freaking bucks for Dawn of War II, great game...but I would've had saved about 15 bucks in the deal.

I hate to bump an old thread, but I don't think it'd be right to start a new one regarding the site.

My first, and only purchase, was of The Sims 3. The cd-key they sent was entered into the activation portion of Electronic Arts Download Manager. I received a message saying the key was already in use. Yes, I made sure to double check what I entered, even copied and pasted from my email.

I am going to assume that not everything they sell is legit? If my cd-key supposedly came directly from a new box, how is it already in use? Bleh, at least they refunded me asap!

It happens. Sometimes some jerk who doesn't want to pay for the game will use a keygen or something of the like and your key will be worthless. At least you got your refund quickly.

Yeah true. Because of how quickly they sorted everything out, I may make another purchase in the future. Much better service than more "reputable" sites :)

Your example actually highlights good service. It's when things go wrong that you get to see how good a service actually is by the way they deal with it. In your case they gave you a refund straight away. I think that gives them a plus in my book.

As to your key being used, I have bought the boxed game and installed it only to be confronted with the same message. These things happen through no fault of the retailer.

I know at least of a dozen friends that have made at least one purchase from there w/o issue, which I feel is a very good thing. That along with my time of contacting EA, the site owner, and doing a ton of research...I don't want to be a part of something shady or share it with my fellow TPU'ers. I work damn hard for my money, and I love to game, so if I can save some cash and still get the game, and keep it all legit, I'll do it. I was extremely hesitant of this place at first and the staff there must've been sick of my questions.

Do keep on the lookout for a forum to pop up there for situations like SirJangley's, they want to know the situation and resolve it. I've been extremely impressed with the customer service thus far, and the amount of money I saved by going with digital distribution keys, no extra boxes or discs, just the damn game I wanna play! I have purchased a boxed game before and had the same thing, because like stated earlier some will find that key using a keygen, it does happen and it really sucks when it does.

I definately recommend them for anyone looking to get a good game at a very decent budget price, though I do tend to stick to EA Downloader or Steam only unless I have a friend that has install discs for a different game, personally I'd rather have it on digital distribution anymore. I've purchased BF2 Complete, Fallout 3 (already purchased hardcopy once, gave my fiance the key, I finally wanted one...was way cheaper to go this route than another $50 copy), Burnout Paradise X 3 (1 for me, one for my nephew, one for a good buddy), CoD4 (for a friend's b-day), and I know there's at least one more...but I can't place it atm. Their library is growing with some quality titles, between them and GoG.com I'm set with some great new games and some excellent classics for a very reasonable price.

Cod 4 uses 2 seperate .exe's.i use a no cd for the single player .exe, and run the multiplayer with no disc as it uses the key for authenticity.

Hi bro.Im one of the owner of cdkeysdirect. There have been some problems lately with the sims 3 EA download version, so we have stopped it for time being and we are only selling scanned version straight from retail box.

thanks and welcome arcade.

Thnks bro,

Regarding DGk they are our competetiors but we have a price which is way better than their prices with exception of some games one of them being COD5.Why we sell only boxed version cd-keys for cod 5?

Last year when cod5 was released we sold in december cod5 worth 4000 US$ ,later on activision banned all those keys as those were stolen from warehouse. Not only ours but keys from other sites were also banned ,so later on we bought 100 cod5 boxes and started sellling keys from boxes and refunding 4000$ to our customers.Following our success in COD5 keys straight from box, we have started selling keys for other games also straight from retail box.
Its striaght from box so thats why prices are a bit high and not all customers will buy those but some will buy.

We are one of the cheapest key suppliers.People email me and say u have pretty much less games in comparison to other sites. We do have less in some numbers and not much.We have all our games categorized while others dont categorize. For ex:- IF you go to mall and look for jeans, there is a jeans department then you select ,levis, wranglers, denim, etc and its directly not levis, wranglers, etc.ITs categorized. If you have any other questionsor queries you can ask me

Hi bro.Im one of the owner of cdkeysdirect. There have been some problems lately with the sims 3 EA download version, so we have stopped it for time being and we are only selling scanned version straight from retail box.

Hey mate :) thanks for posting on here! After submitting my issue via email, I received a refund with 8 hours. That surprised me! That EA issue sucks, but I am glad I was taken care of. Feeling like I matter to a company is rare :)
