"Fable III will be coming out in 2010 on the 360...don't expect it too early in 2010. We're still working on Milo and Kate."

"We've got a new gameplay mechanic called 'judgments.' As king, we have the ability for people to come before you, and you say "I'm going to judge you know." Let's take an example: Someone comes in and says, "We've caught this girl stealing food." Players can call in the cook and she says, "We've caught her stealing and we need to set an example." Then, players can either go and investigate further, or can summarily decide her fate. If a player continues, the girl might say, "I'm starving and my family needs some food" and you can go out and see her family. You can think of this as a new way of accepting quests

"The other new mechanic that we've got is called 'touch.' This idea of touch came about from you being ruler. We were thinking about the expressions system in Fable. [In Fable III] You can shake someone's hand, and then that might turn into a hug. You can then turn that into an embrace, and then into a full-on snog. I'm not going to tell you where that's going, but you can imagine."

Where's the PC port of Fable II? I can't care about Fable III if I never played Fable II. :(

And I agree, we need Black & White 3, Populous 4, and Dungeon Keeper III.

Oh, an Overlord II has "judgements." The Sims 2/3 has "touch." Those aren't new concepts to the industry.

Bah, both Fable and B&W are very overrated imo. Now Dungeon Keeper III I'm all in for. Also a new Syndicate would be awesome. :D

I don't want Fable III, or a port of Fable II. I have tried this....attempt at a game and found it sorely lacking in appeal, challenge, storyline, and challenge.

I am sorry if I offend anyone, but Fable was a failure in my book and they should just stop trying.

Fable is a great and fun game, but i wish it wouldnt be a linear as it is, more like oblivion but with the gameplay mechanics of fable...

Fable was good enough for me to beat it 3-4 times. Not many games can make that claim. ;)

Personally - Fable (PC) never lived up to all its hype, I played the game, then got stuck in an area which i couldnt leave, so I had to reload my last save point before the quest or completely restart the game - which I chose the latter & just never went back to it..... till this day - M$ has never fixed the bugs that plagued Fable

i've never played all of fable 2, just here n there at a friends. but fable 1 was definitely one of the easiest games i've played. What i loved about it is the whole freedom of choosing if you wanna kill everyone or not haha. That's realistic right there :)

The only real bug I saw is that "Hero Save" is useless. That basically means, when you start the game, you have to complete the entire guild before you can actually "World Save" for the first time. It's a PITA but if you know you plan ahead for it, it's just a minor inconvience.

Other than that, it is one of the best ports ever from Xbox to PC. I don't recall any crashes or any other significant issues (scrpting, graphic, audio, etc.) with it.

fable is a good game, the second one needs ported to the pc tho as a lot of pc gamers liked the first

i think the 3rd will just be an improvement on the second, just like a half life 2 episode

completed the second game and have yet to go back and try some of the other things, the main story is quick but there is a lot to try

Beating a game repeatedly doesn't make it a good game. I beat the single player mode of Tekken 5 30 or so times. Doesn't change the fact I don't like Tekken and its terrible hit tracking.

If I don't like it, I don't ever finish it (e.g. Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, Never Winter Nights, Wanted: Weapons of Fate). If it is alright, I beat it once (e.g. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Halo, Timeshift, Command & Conquer 3, Company of Heroes, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs Aliens, Damnation, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, Wheelman). If it is great, I beat it more than once (e.g. Ground Control II: Operation Exodus, Evil Genius, Populous: The Beginning, Mass Effect, Command & Conquer: Renegade, Command & Conquer: Generals, Earth 2150, Earth 2160, Prototype, Saints Row II, Hitman: Blood Money).

Tekken, being a fighter, is hard to qualify by that method. I don't like fighters so I would put them all in the "don't like" category even though officially it is hard not to beat it at least once.

Fable 1 was a good game. Fable 2 wasn't even a full game though, I'm sure it was even shorter than the first...?
