I doubt these were ever available in any substantial amount.

The F1 RAID class was hard enough to find as it is, not to mention the smallest sized HDD of the class.

THE 250GB version (along with 500GB and 750GB) used a 250GB platter, rather than the faster 333GB platter of the 320GB, 640GB and 1TB variants.

Performance was rather sub-par for these 250GB platter models, so you aren't missing anything.

A cheap drive is nice, but the money is better spent elsewhere...

I got one in Roseville Ca. yesterday (they said they had 2 but could only find one) I tried Sacramento and no go and also in Palo Alto a no go . Dam I was hoping for 2...

They said there were 2 in Illinois (about 3000 miles,but thats just a bit too far for me to save $30 on, lol)

One thing about Frys is their on-line counting system is REALLY flawed. Even when you go to the store they are usually too lazy to go in the back and look. Honestly thats the only way to get stuff like this, you got to get someone cool to actually go in the back and physically look for the part.
