OS Missing. Help!

Alright, I went into the bios today to try some new settings. I got frustrated after a few failed boots so I just loaded the optimized default. I was booting up and greeted with this:



Thinking the "optimized defaults" just changed my boot device or something, I went back and checked everything, and it all seemed to be in order:







So what's up here. I don't want to have to reinstall an OS, unless it's Win7 RTM and I had that fully downloaded and ready to burn on the malfunctioning computer T_T

Your last screenie shows you have 2 identical disks it is possible they were in a raid and you have changed your bios sata controller to ide mode and now raid in not seen.

You might need to write a new MBR to the drive.

Well yeah, they were in raid, it's in my sys. specs. I don't know, it looks all the same. I didn't see where it was switched to IDE.


I switched them around and stuff, still nothing.

put yer win7 cd in and do a repair. it might find that the bootloader's been deleted and it will reinstall it for you

I wish I had the Win7 disc, but as I said, I was going to burn it. It's still on that computer, it will take days to download on one of these computers.

You may have to mess with the hoopla intel raid bios style setup thingy
