Damn and after I got my Asus ROG Crosshair 3. As was said, in 8 months, if I feel the need to get it, I probably will.

nah if u just got crosshair III wait for second or 3rd wave of boards or Crosshair IV lol! Most important will be your cards i can see getting the evergreens but these will be a ways out. Don't get me wrong will be fun but nothing like that second wave after they turn things up or fix "that problem with the thing", and "find the way to make such and such go faster". Then u sit there with the first board like :( but hey if u got the money no hate g for it. (IE "Revision B")

maybe not only this , what about tri channel technology on x58 i hope AMD do something like it
Considering the chipset has absolutely nothing to do with DRAM on either Intel's chippery (X58) nor AMD's (K8/K10), then more than 128bit DRAM is not going to happen until Bulldozer, if then either.
