Hi guys, i have a problem with my QX9650.
If i overclock and set vcore to auto i have no problems, the computer posts at 4Ghz but when i set a vcore manualy to make the system more stable it fails, and it fails at any voltage, i tried everything , it doesnt matter what speed i set the processor it always fails when i set vcore manualy, auto no problem.
its as if the cpu doesnt like it.
I hope you guys can help me out on this one.

How are you cooling your CPU?
What CPU voltages have you tried?

I have one 9650 @ 4GHz at 3.75V.
I have another 9650 @ 4GHz at 3.5V.

Need more info from you. Pretty much need
to know step by step what you are doing.

<sarcasm> 3.75v seems quite high </sarcasm> :p

@Excelsius
Have you disable C1E and EIST?

Are you using a stock cooler?
Anyway I reccomend reseting your BIOS.
Start from scratch and bump your FSB in 10 MHz steps and use Prime 95
to stress your system to check for stability. Also run Real Temp while
priming to insure your temps are not too high. Mid fifties is about as high
as I am comfortable with.

2 things bro..your NB voltage @ 1.55v seems a little high...and you could try raising the FSB termination voaltage to 1.3 - 1.4v

If none of the above helps you.
Try updating your bios.

That chips is a bear, haveing those temps are not your problem./ It's either your Voltage settings, go to 1.45 vCore, also make your ram run at around 800mhz, so you take it out of the picture and also what multi and fsb are you running.

I have ran 4Ghz rock solid on my gig board with....

Here is a current CPUz

best of luck!~
