In killing dead mobos, I bring you hard evidences on details people normally wouldn't think off.

Shipping to Canada from the states is <$10, plus all I really need is the socket and mounting hole, dead CPU that I want will be used in mounting tests.

I have a Tbird ceramic CPU (yeah, those indestructable bastards) thats beyond dead, sitting here in a small socket A that I cut out of a mobo just like you did, planning on doing a CPU mount aswell, but havent used it forever. I may be able to get a pic soon..
