Maybe it's good value. After all I didn't see a scale on the picture, it might be really big and double up as a chair! One mouse button per leg and the scroll wheel between your knees - hand operated of course!

Bleakness comes from age and way overpriced stuff.

Then if it is a true piece of art it should have the artists name on it :).

I'm not going to try to pound 7+ years of my art education into your head. An artist can piss on his work and call it their signature afterall. Then you have to ask yourself "What is a true piece of art?" In reality a true piece of art can mean something completely different from one person to the next. There really is no wrong answer. In this case though, there is a hefty pricetag, and you don't even get to hang it on your wall. This is an item that few can rationalize and few can afford.

That scroll wheel looks like a microscopic piece of crap. How do you scroll with that? Also, how does this thing glide around your desk without damaging the surface? Maybe they put some Delrin (an extra-low friction plastic) areas on the underside? I'm fine with my old Logitech VX Revolution mouse, as it is actually ergonomic and has forward/back buttons and lots of other goodies like a battery life meter.

Mean no offense to artists but IF i was going buy some thing at that kinda price for a mouse i'd like to see his or her sig on it :). As this just makes me think it's a a small unknown person even IF it's not + it's nice to see IMO.

But yes you are right What is art. As i bet a few people on these forums think some v cards are art :).
