Help picking out a card.

They're probably thinking of a 9800GT with the power connector. If you wanted to use one of those, yeah you'd need a new psu, but you'd be fine with that one.

I'd actually recommend this XFX 9800GT. It's basically the same thing as the Sparkle one, no power connector, but it's a little cheaper and is by XFX (which is a good thing).

The only problem is that XFX 9800GT have overheating problems quite often :shadedshu

Alrighty then. Guess I'll get the lower power edition 9800. Though I have no way of telling if my computer is running it okay after I install it. I may go down to a local computer tech and have him install a better PSU soon after.

First of all, don't buy from Bestbuy since everything is going to be insanely overpriced.

But to answer your question, look for a used 8800/9800GT, or a new 9800GT or 9600GSO.
