coolbits sli fun

I was trying to get sli to work with a 9600gso 196 bit memory and a 9600gso with 128 bit memory,I got them to work in physx with no problem and seen that coolbits will enable sli.So
i set coolbits in the registry and then changed the parameter to 16 and i was able to set sli up and physx together,which i looked on the internet and seen you can only do it with 3 cards.the tests were amazing with physx enabled i got 2346 in fluidmark and with both enabled i got over 4000 for a score.now with darkest of days physx enabled i got 18 frames per second,now with both enabled i got 37 frames per second.Has any body tried this hack before?

you can run hardware physX on one card, two, three, or more.

Your comment about running SLI + physX with just two cards is therefore redundant.

well it is not actually a hack, because i am running dual 9800gt's and both are in SLI and got Physx enabled, but the fact that he is running mismatched cards in SLI is a feat non the less

that is a feat, yes. but SLI + phsyX alone isnt (and thats what he said)

I guess im not the only one to have it working,thats what i was looking for to see if it was done by someone else,because the internet doesnt come up with any hits on the subject.

i was aware that if you ran to mismatched cards of the same model 9600 gso for each card, they would always default to the slower card, in the realm of mismatch memory bitrate, i would say that the issue you might come across is stuttering and tears while gaming... try it out let us know how it works.
