Well, I got only two.
But for me the E4300 was a better oc'able chip, seeing there's more of a difference between the E4300's 1.8Ghz stock vs 3.1Ghz oc than there is between the E8400's 3Ghz stock and 4.2Ghz oc.
Here's the E4300 at 3.0Ghz. I can't find a screenshot where I had it at 3.1Ghz though.
And here's my current E8400 at 4.2Ghz.
However I keep the E8400 at 4Ghz for daily usage, because to get it stable at 4.2Ghz I'd have to put the RAM at 667.
What I definitely like in the E8400 is that it runs a lot cooler.
