2 cards + P55 = No sli

Ok so i finally got my bios flashing to work properly and now i have two 9600gso's how ever when i install the latest drivers for them to get full sli support & profiles there is no sli option available dispite both cards being there and connected with the sli bridge. DFI does have a driver that does enable sli when i use it but its very out of date.. (186.18) does anyone know of any work arounds so that i can enable sli without having to use very old drivers ?

I had the same problem with my 2 9600 gso's ,i used coolbits to make it work now im running sli and physx at the same time ,and got a big performance increase.you can find coolbits on guru3d .com

With the newest driver release ? it was my understanding that that tool does not work anymore

I have the newest driver installed and coolbits works fine.I also have a 128bit 512 version and the other is 192 bit and 384 meg and that was the only way i could make it work for me.give it a try,i think youll be happy with the results.

assuming that your using windows xp for this, it doesnt work under windows 7

maybe i seem to be missing some thing here.. i've installed the 191.70 drivers and loaded up coolbits... still nothing

is this the version of coolbits that your talking about and the driver version that your using ?

there is new driver from nvidia site which is 196.21 WHQL here is just give it try uninstall old drivers using this way http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=52502

and tell me about GPU-Z did detect two cards , and when you connect the SLI cable did the nvidia driver detect the SLI i think nvidia control panel give you an hint about using SLI when first time run window with SLI

other thing which is i put it in the end , i guess you need to update the mobo bios some P55's come with crossfire only in first release , so with last bios maybe this problem fixed but keep this as last thing to do

yes that is the same version ,did you put the 18 in the registry under Hkey local machine/software/nvidia corporation\globl/nvtweak than coolbits
