Hello everyone,
I have a week-old 22" 1080P television (Insignia Advanced NS-L22X-10A) that I have been using in place of my Sceptre 1080p monitor that has horrendous problems with reds/oranges. Anyway, I had been using VGA + PC Audio for the last week, but I didn't like the signal noise and text ghosting coming in through VGA. So, I broke out a 10ft HDMI cable (came with Verizon FIOS HD box, seems fairly thick), found my PNY DVI-HDMI adapter for my 9800 GT, and gerryrigged an S/PDIF cable from my SC to my videocard. Problem is, everything on-screen seems blocky/jagged, the lowercase letters P and R have fat stems, some text in TF2 Chat has black shadowing around it, white halos around stuff etc. (VGA seemed smooth and good). What gives?
