I played about a half hour last night and it is Sweet. It starts you out with a little bit of a surprise. The game play is really cool. Hiding in houses is a little different then what we are used to : ) Seems so far it will be as good if not better then MW2. It is a definite buy if you are into combat shooters.Estimates are it should take about twice as long as mw 2 to beat. Of course guys will get on here and the other blogs and say they beat it in 2 hours and crap like that, but if you are an average player and don't sit at your keyboard 16 hours out of every day you should get plenty of fun out of the Single player and then off to the multiplayer. We already know it is going to be really good.

With proper 'equipment' you can blast off any building, thats is awesome...but trees are somehow unbreakable. Game looks nice from distance, but every texture is blurred.
Single player campagin is the same long as it was in MW2 (2-4 hours) and not so EPIC. I think the Multiplayer is better than it was in MW2, but about single player I would say that Modern Warfare 2 was better.

yeah it really is cool to find your own path when you can. you can go through trees and hills that most games would have an invisible wall at.

so you can go a dif direction than your team, and flank the enemy.

also as arroyo pointed out, it is too awesome blowing holes through buildings. some levels have groups of buildings, like camps or small villages. starting at one end and blowing up all the buildings is fun ;)

Awesome, Im sold! I loved the 1st one (SP, as I never played MP on it) so by the sounds of it I will like this :rockout: I wasnt sure if it would be as EPIC as MW2 (but TBH, not many games are) But aslong as its got plenty of action I will be happy :D

Thanks for your input guys ;)

Google bit-tech review, its the best one yet.
I played it and it was over quickly and was very easy compared to MW2
I did try in DX11 and it looks great though i didnt check in dx10. I looks like a different crysis. Something in between it and MW2

I just started the SP campaign on the XBOX360. I too thought the 1st 'warm up' mission was a bit boring, but when the game starts properly (where you start play as Bad Co.) its great. Im in a building at the moment with a f*cking tank bombarding me :D

I just played through the entire SP campaign on the medium difficulty level. I didn't rush but didn't explore everything either, and spent about six hours on it. I'd say it's the best SP FPS I've played, but nothing revolutionary. Some good laughs, relatively generic plot, somewhat thin story line, decent graphics with some of the scenery being works of art but overall not visually extraordinary, some sections that dragged on and others that were a downright blast. I will probably play through it again at some point in the next few months but will be moving on to MP for now.

This doesn't make any sense. You say it's the best SP FPS you've played, and then you say that the plot is generic and it was a pretty casual game overall.

I've just played the first mission @ a pals place, well, I had mixed feelings. He grabbed the kb/mouse from me and played the 2nd (snow) mission, doesnt look great, but the gameplay was cool, 3rd mission, jungle, now thats where the game is beautiful, wow! I mean, I havent seen something like that since a very long time! I had to go though, I neeeeeeed cash for this game badly!

I thought the SP was very easy (died twice) and very short. Not sure exactly how long it took me, but I started on sat and finished on sun, found all but 5 guns and all but 2 or 3 mcoms (have the exact number in the clubhouse thread).

Doesn't the game automatically change it for you depending on the gpu you have?

I said "it's the best SP FPS I've played, but nothing revolutionary." It makes perfect sense to me, insinuating that while I found certain aspects of it to be unimpressive, I consider it to be overall better than any other I've played. Other SP FPS games I've played had even more generic plots, etc.
