To me , it's a fail. HD5850 crossfired since November 09 for £400. I made the right choice.

And it's not a 'Baconator'.....

It's a freaking kettle.

Wow...

Well its pretty fast,
but 250 watts at full loads better then a 4870x2 still.

Also its somewhat faster then a 4870x2

but at 96c at full load thats just freakin stupid

Ive seen 2-3 reviews with over 90c at full load. That is amazingly hot and stupid. Just the thought thinks these cards will die within a year for users !!!!!

I don't know if drivers are to blame or what but in my mind this card is a failure right now

and for 500 dollars, not worth it.

in some tests even the 5850 beats it.

but it definitely shows its tesselation power, as more games supporting tessalation com out it might leave the 5850 and the 5870 behind in those titles.

I'd like to see that test with AAA instead of x4 AA as I'm pretty convinced x4 AA with ATi is broken.

Hexus review does an SLI test at 2560 resolution. It performs bloody superb in fps as you'd expect it too bit draws an insane amount of power >700Watts and 95 degree temps!!!!

If you did buy two of these cards I'd be sending the environmental lobby to break down your door and slap your face.

Well to me, theres only 3 things wrong with this card.

1. High Power consumption
2. High Temperature's
3. High Price Tag

If it didn't have any of those problems, it would have been a great card.
