Nice set of new mods, we have a gal (probably the only girl in TPU left, so BP gets to be a mod

), a grandfather (Tatty) and a sniper (Kreij).

Congratulations new mods, especially BP who not only managed to prove everyone wrong that there are girls in the interwebs, but also managed to get to the top of the food chain.

I too used to be a sniper but my eyesights not quite what it used to be so I went into Artillery

So how does one end up a moderator? Did they ask? Was there some kind of conferance between W1zzard and the mods and they got offered? Why do we even need more mods? I'm curious how this all works.

I think they lost some and as a result of that, the European Mod contingent was a little light, you know those time differences etc, I really don't know how they decided to shortlist, I do know they discuss it in detail and I suppose the majority have to feel comfy with the candidates.... I was just asked about a week or so ago if I would be interested.

it involved beers, a dartboard, and an eyepatch or two. After many rounds of bracket style eliminations, the 3 avatars with the fewest holes were asked to join

we totally chose on who had the coolest avatars. we went for all the animal ones, but in the end decided kreij would hunt us down and kill us all with his leet sniping skills if we didnt get him on our side.
