XFX Nvidia GeForce 7900 gs AGP PC Crash

Hi, i recently got the xfx nvidia geforce 7900 gs agp on my system and for some reason whenever i try to play a game at high resolution it plays for about two seconds then the whore computer crashes (turns off). After that i cant turn on the computer, i have to disconnect the power cable and wait couple of minutes they i can connect it and it will turn on.. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanx!

When the computer just "turns off" it's most likely your power supply not being able to supply sufficient power.

I'll second erocker on the PSU.

Before splashing out any money, try borrowing one from a friend if you can and see if it still happens and get back to us. Make sure it's a decent brand like Corsair, Enermax, Antec etc and is at least 400W.

Also, please fill out your system specs as completely as possible. It can really help us to help you troubleshoot a problem.
