dang lots of powercoolers i may switch out for a different brand for my next build.

side note- whats a graphics card = to a 4850 or whats is close to 2x 4850's? as mine has jumped from 100% load 63c to 84c in the last month

I bought the power color pcs+ 5850 last week. It came in basically brand new condition with box/accessories and an unused COD:MW2 voucher. The thing is like half the volume of my old XFX 4870 and about 1.5x as fast!

Good luck to those who ordered cards, I am a HUGE fan of Newegg.com, they have been incredible to me. But it seems I have had poor luck getting what's advertized via open-box items. Now don't let this deter anyone who is considering these HUGE deals. Each time they've sent me the wrong item, they have refunded my money and payed to ship the item back in. It's Newegg, you can trust em to do the right thing.

most of those returns are from buyers remorse, wrong item ordered or incompatibility issues such as not having a proper psu, mobo or just plain user error...

at least you have 30 days to evaluate the card before being stuck with something that doesnt work.

I got an open boxed 260 once, was a horrible clocker. 625 was the cores max and the memory wouldn't budge. Considering ati has even laxer board partner standards and all sorts of problems with funky or cheap batches of cards I'd say it's a bit of gamble buying these. I'd expect them to have those random issues like flash vids crashing or what not.

Its 30 days not 15.

Trust me, I had the rma I just never got time to send it back. The expiration date on the rma to send it in was right at 30 days from the purchase. I started the ticket on day 23.

You actually get 30 which is the average for most odd brands on newegg. I don't think there's any chance of restocking fees.
