Looking for a WinXP disk with CD key.

My cd finally cracked in the disk drive after many years.

Not looking to pay a lot, as I purchased Win 7 for pretty cheap and XP is ancient

I do, but the disk I had was a student edition disk from my school. I can't find an iso of an SP1 student edition...........

If you contact Microsoft customer support, they might be able to sell you a replacement disc for a nominal sum. You will likely have to provide proof of purchase.

Isn't student editions MDSN? If so, I don't really think they will give him a new disk.

I've got my XP Pro Student Edition disc still laying around, I can burn you a copy and send it to you. That way you can use your original key.

Doesn't have to be SP1 to work; SP3 will be just fine and save you a ton of time downloading updates.

Student's are MSDN copies, microsoft will most likely want to try and sell him a newer version or win7..
