I wouldn't doubt to say, that these will be the best PSUs on the market, alongside with the Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold series. Fantastic efficiency, 100% modular, looks great, runs cool and quiet, what more could you ask for? I hope that I can afford the 750W or the 850W model, because I think I just found the perfect PSU ;)

Glad I waited on that HX1000 now. I want either the 850 or 1200. Looks like I am fixing to give mad props to Corsair with a case, psu, and probably some Ram here when I upgrade to the P2 X6.

It doesn't need to be SLI certified. All it needs is enough available power and enough PCIe connectors. SLI certification is sham for the most part.

This is stupid... Corsair is killing the competition

Ok, I might just get a refund for my HX850 and get an AX750/850 :D

When will they be available?

I know I'm about a month late to this topic, but does anyone know anything about Flextronics (the OEM for the 1200w)? There is a little info over in a topic about this at [H]:

They make a lot of the first run boards for NVIDIA products, probably the most likely place you would have heard of them.

....there is also a new builder series... wonder what's that all about

That's news to me. Time to do some research.

Depending on how the numbers play out with regards to higher-efficiency PSUs paying for their higher cost over time for a given location and system, I will have a hard time justifying the cost of the Pro series. Though excellent they undoubtedly are.

I almost wish I needed a PSU just for the AX850

Stay away from the RAM IMO.
