Lesson: "Don't make new threads, use the search"

Another problem is that HIS and XFX are harder to get in my country.

PCI add card that came with HIS i think , not sure , i saw that over at 3DGameMan's videos.

I have used Sapphire since I started buying ATi cards.

Never had an issue with them.
Even if my reference HD4850 had an odd fan profile setting of passive till 70degC stock and could get up to 110degC during gaming.

I will most probably go with Sapphire with the next card i get too.

Only thing I do not like is the Sapphiretech forums.
It appears the people who moderate the forums and give answers are bias.

If people have an issue with the card, they try to point at the users PSU.
If it is not the PSU then they point at the user or some other piece of non Sapphire hardware in the case causing the error or malfunction.

But they are non official Sapphire reps.

If i decide to get an HD6770 Vapor-X from Sapphire, would I need to upgrade my other components as well?

Makes me wonder how much testing go into some of these card before releasing them.
Or what happens along the line when it gets to manufacturing them?

Does the BIOS get passed down a group of people on a piece of worn out notepad before getting to the people who write the BIOS?
