SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., the professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, today unveils two SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards, offering a variety of cooling solutions and bringing premium gaming performance and the fun of use to mainstream gamers. SPARKLE introduced two versions of the SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards:

Active Cooling Version: This version of the SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Card uses the non-reference cooling fan from SPARKLE, featuring 1 big size PWM fan with 92mm diameter (12mm bigger than the reference one) and directional cooling fins with the directional guidance technology, effectively creating huge of wind for the heat dissipation of GPU / Memory / MOS circuit / capacitors. The non-reference cooling fan use the quiet design to operate extremely silence. It dissipate heat up to 5% more efficiently during gameplay and enable up to 9% quieter operation than the stock fan for GeForce GTS 450 graphics card.

Passive Cooling Version With 0db Noise: It's the world's first silent GeForce GTS 450 graphics card using passive cooling design, featuring 4 Pure aluminum heatpipes, with a large heat sink, providing 0db quiet working environment

Advanced Rendering Architecture
Using NVIDIA's next generation GF106 chip architecture. The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards can dynamically allocates 3D processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering up to 2x the gaming performance of prior generation GPUs. Thanks to technologies such as NVIDIA Lumenex Engine, SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards support DirectX 11, Shader Model 5.0, NVIDIA Quantum Effects technology for physics computation and GigaThread Technology for extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs.

NVIDIA CUDA Technology With 192 cores CUDA C/C++ Support and 32 Texture Units
CUDA technology unlocks the power of the SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards' 192 processor cores to accelerate the most demanding system tasks such as video transcoding. The 32 Texture Units embedded in the GF106 can dramatically improve the texture processing efficient in latest DirectX 11 games, resulting in higher fps than the competitor's products.

Dominate Next generation DirectX 11 Gaming
Tessellation- one of the biggest new features of Microsoft DirectX11, helps the SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards to treat your eyes to incredible visual details without sacrificing frame rates. With more geometry processing power, get incredibly detailed characters, terrain and game environments - all with blazing fast performance. The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards aslo bring stunning gaming effects with cutting-edge Microsoft DirectX 11 graphics and NVIDIA PhysX technology take gaming to a new level.

Expect The Fastest Performance With Overclock Features
The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards are overclocked out of box with 789MHz core speed, 3760MHz memory speed and 1579MHz shader clock. Compared with ordinary GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards on market, SPARKLE slightly enhanced the performance of the SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards for mainstream gamers to enjoy better value for money.

1024MB GDDR5 Memory
The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards provides incredible large 1024MB GDDR5 video memory to mainstream gamers, to satisfy the rigorous need on the video memory bandwidth, conquering today's hottest DX11 game, such as Stalker: Call Of Pripyat, Metro 2033, even to meet the requirement from 3DMark 11 launched this autumn.

Arm Yourself With NVIDIA 3D Vision Graphics Technology
The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards equip you with the latest graphics technologies including eye-popping NVIDIA 3D Vision, to breakthrough the boundaries of your screen. Games, movies and photos enter a new visual dimension.

NVIDIA SLI Support
The SPARKLE GeForce GTS 450 Graphics Cards supports NVIDIA SLI technology, which provides even higher frame rates and permits higher quality settings for the ultimate experience in PC gaming when connected to a high-end, high-resolution monitor.

3nd Generation PureVideo HD
High-definition video decoder and post-processor delivers unprecedented picture clarity, smooth video and accurate color for movies and video.

OpenGL 4.0 Optimization and Support
Ensures top-notch compatibility and performance for OpenGL applications.

Native HDMI 1.4a Support and Audio Input for HDMI
Fully integrated support for HDMI 1.4a including xvYCC, Deep color and 7.1 digital surround sound. High-definition audio transmission can be realized without spdif wiring.

4 wire fan, what's that all about?
It uses PWM to regulate it's speed, as opposed to RPM sensing and control via voltage supply (e.g. voltage dividers). What I can't understand is why they colored all the wires black.

x2. See this Gigabyte? Some companies can put out a passive card at launch. I appreciate your custom PCBs and good designs but waiting until near the end of a product cycle for passive versions is just lame. Here's hoping for more passive GTX 450s, that does add a good twist to the otherwise *meh*-ness of the cards.
