Could you tell me what do you think of the following build performance/overall quality wise?

The PC will be primarily used for gaming, multi-tasking and the like. I would also like to OC the CPU to around 4.2Ghz or so.

Intel Core i7-950
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
GTX 580 SLI or HD6970 CFX - Not sure which yet.
Corsair DDR3 6144MB (2048MBx3) 1600Mhz CL 7-7-7-20 XMS3
Samsung SH-S223 X22
CoolerMaster HAF 932
Seasonic X-850 850W
Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme+2 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm Fans. <- Should I go 1450RPM or 1850RPM? will it be noisy? Are they good fans?

Thank you.

Something along the cost of this build is fine. No specific budget, however.

for the cooler i would go with a Prolimatech Megahelem or a Thermalright VenemousX or a Noctua NH-D14.

for a Power Supply i would defintely go with a Corsair, Enermax, or OCZ(they bought PC Power and Cooling i believe). 850 should be fine, but if you're going for SLI or Crossfire in the future i would suggest a 1000w or 1200w psu

do you have the model number of the memory? i cant seem to find much on that

everything else looks good.

EDIT: also, this would be better put in the "System Builders" sectin of the forums, might wanna ask a mod to move it.

Whats wrong with Seasonic? they make some of Corsair's PSUs, their new 80 plus gold AX series is based on this very same X series SS PSU.

Can a mod move this? I did not notice there was such a section.

Thanks.

memory looks ok, might wanna ask others how well it oc's.

as for the psu, i've never heard of seasonic, i would still go with one of those 3 brands i mentioned. they are all tried and true and proven.

Lol, if you have heard of Corsair and not seasonic you have heard of Apple but not Foxconn :p

Seasonic is the company which makes Corsair PSUs, Corsair submits their design to Seasonic and they manufacture them. I think one of the series is a direct rebrand of Seasonic, but I am not sure.
