Palit Readies 3 GB GeForce GTX 580 Graphics Card, Too

I think the 3 GB Memory Buffer will help the GTX 580 perform better...
Because 6970 gives more performance at 1920*1080 and 2560*1600 than GTX 480....
But at lower resolutions the GTX 480 outperforms..
Meaning the GTX 580 will require extra memory to perform better at higher resolutions since its quite faster than a GTX 480...

Please reply if I am wrong..

I think some reviews will be the only way to tell for sure if it's the memory size holding back the 580 at higher resolutions.

Add 1.5 GB more memory to an EVGA GTX 580 FTW and voila... you have an EVGA GTX 580 FTW++....

It's for people with more money then sense. It does have it uses for those that game on at least one huge monitor, but for everyone else - meh.

3 gigs.... :eek:I don't even have 3 gigs of system RAM! :)
