Good HDD Cloning Softwre for Win 7?

Can someone recommend me a good Hard Disk Cloning Software that works for Windows 7???

I'm planning to clone my primary HDD(and OS) to a another bigger and better HDD and use it.

A.K.A. upgrade HDD without reformatting.

I've done this before successfully but back then I was using windows xp and Acronis Migrate Easy but it doesn't work on Windows 7. :banghead:

If one of the installed HDD's are a WD try Acronis True Image WD Edition Software

yes, but only if a WD drive is installed. I use it often.

As long as you have a WD HDD in the system yes it does.

I THINK sygate have there own software ya would have to check make sure.

Seagate has there own software it is a lite version of Acronis that also clones.

I have been using for some time now the free utility Clonezilla. It has the advantage of working with every OS and filesystem but I understand that it may not be the easiest one to deal with.

can it handle large HDDs like 500 GB and 1 TB, etc etc?

Isn't cloning apart of Win7 Ultimate?
From the Start Menu type "Backup your Computer" then select it it the menu options..
then at the top left of the Window you should see "Create a system Image" and "Create a Repair disc" Choose create a system image and select the drive you want...Voila

or just type SDCLT from the start menu and it will bring up the same window

Yes it is a form of cloning, as long as the image you are creating is going to be installed on a disk or partition of the same size or greater. It can not clone it to a smaller partition or Disc.
