Getting the most outta a 7000......

aight I got a Radeon 7000 and I wanna know if there is anything I can flash it to or anything without blowin her, any suggestions on what can be done?

its oc at 185 core 175 mem, i might put a fan on the sink to cool it more.......

i have the same card and it does not do much and mine came with a fan on it.

well i put a fan in the front of this case, in which it has NO fans ANYWHERE and the 7000 will OC abit more than it did and got 1FPS more, now have an avg of 6 FPS.........wow.............

taking small steps but getting abit more

my sis stole my cam so I dont have a pic of my card but tried to find one like it on the net but this is what i came up with, just a bit different and mines green with a black sink and only 1 VGA out

like i said, i cant do much on this old computer with pics lol

Nah... get a high 3000 RPM Zalman fan and mount it with screws, although it might scar the heatsink >=D! Then OC like crazy.

well I have a old socket 370 heat sink fan im gonna put on for now, i havta murder my old PSU's wires (need molex connector) to make it work as the case fan connector on the mobo is way at the top as the vid card is way at the bottom. should cool it alot better

and next target post are 775 lol but not gonna postwhore to do it either lol

What game are you getting 6 fps in? And what are the settings to do that? I have a 32MB AIW Radeon (no number model on it) with an Athlon XP 1600+ (Palomino) and that thing runs circles around a P4 Willamette 1.5 with a Geforce2 MX400 card. It actually gets better framerates. Go figure.

Radeon 7000 has no hardware transform & lighting(like the Riva TnT) and wont even launch most games released within the last 2-3 years.

well its cool I went out to the local computer store and pick myself up a 450 W PSU for a filler untill I can afford a way better one, so now my gaming rig is FINALLY up after one LONG month!

My 7500 is AGP, is this one PCI? If it is WOW. A newer SIS chipset will perform better.
