Catalyst 11.3, when?

Ok, we are pretty deep into March already and nothing about Cat 11.3. There was an info about 11.4 Preview but that's pretty much it. Anyone has any extra info?

Yeah i don't really understand completely (outside of needing to get something out for the 6990s) but I don't think we are going to see an 11.3

Where the hell is Cat 11.3 !? It's 29th March and still nothing. Does this mean that AMD will not release a monthly driver after how many years of doing exactly that?

Calm down. It could be released on the 31st - they may not bother as the 11.4 preview set seems to be kickin' ass & takin' names.

Yeah, well i don't want to use a non WHQL driver. The only ever that i did use was 10.10e hotfix and even that was because it had MLAA enabled out of the box for all gfx cards.

AMD usually release a Catalyst in the middle of the moth. But this time, I do not think it will release the Catalyst 11.3. Let's waitting for the Catalyst 11.4.
By the way, Catalyst 11.4 Preview RC2 driver has been released for Radeon HD 6990.

On what? Only place where i run anything other than tested software is inside VMWare.
I used to change drivers like almost every second day back when i had GeForce cards.
But now i've decided to use just WHQL drivers and update them every month.

I've seen them release on the last day of the month before - I think when I saw it last time the package had a lot of bugfixes and changes in it, they may be trying to re-package the 11.4 preview and get it WHQL'd as 11.3.

There have also been a lot of game releases this past week or two which need optimisation and crossfire profiles - Assasins creed: brotherhood, Homefront and Crysis 2 - if there are any performance issues or crossfire profile optimisations still to be made they'll be working on those before releasing (and I know for a fact all 3 have issues with crossfire as I have all 3).

Everything is the same as or older than the stuff in the 11.4 previews. That means no new crossfire profiles to stop the flickering in crysis 2...

You have to use them, to decide if they are great(to me the best cat release since 9.4 for the 4870)they do have a lot in them.You want big bug fixes for the 6000 cards yes go with the 11.4 If not then just use what you have and wait.As for the profiles for the games they are half fixed in 11.4 by the way.11.4 profiles for the games are probably going to be released.Only thing 11.4 has right now not working is the profiles driver updater in them.

I have never downgraded to any older driver because i never had any problems. I just prefer to keep them up to date anyway. As i do with all the software that i use.

I'm in love with the 11.4 drivers. I love love love love love the new Cat interface, and the performance gains? wow I don't know why anybody would not be using this.

I gained like 15-20 fps in most of my games including Bad Company 2 and RIFT.

It's a good time to be an AMD/ATI fanboy.

Yeah, some people reported performance boosts of up to 30% in some games. I read some percentages link from a thread in TPU somewhere, can't remember what thread though lol.

my 6970 loves them....
i've been playing two worlds 2... and the card just churns through frames...
