if it's in US then go for it. Your card + the amount he's charging is less than he paid for it, therefore it's worth it.

Over at another forum there was a huge discussion about a Phenom II X4 bottlenecking a 580 but if your gaming at 1920X1080 or higher it shouldn't be an issue.

Yea go for it I think you'll love the 580. It's a beast and runs fairly cool too in a good case.
