Lazzer... I appreciate, but I really need the 3.06 because its the fasted that my friends POS will take and it SHOULD have HT, which the 2.8 I do not believe does.

Easiest way to find these chips are to goto CPUworld.com and find the chip your after. then use the Stepping codes (like the ones i posted above) and search ebay or hell even google. your bound to find some cheap somewhere!

Yea true. I always look here before I go to other places but for something this cheap I would have probably snatched one off ebay for 15$ :)

Another reason why I want to stay away from that one in particular is that is in B.F.E... aka CHINA. Wait 2 week? DAMNED ThAT

Wow I didn't know so people still messed with 478 stuff. Why not grab a cheap OEM 775 board and stick a prescott in it? o.o

Just checked my stock at work, no 478 3.06GHz chips, all the 478 chips I have are 800FSB.:(
