The reader takes advantage of performance benefits offered by USB 3.0 technology, allowing for faster data download times.

The Kingston USB 3.0 Media Reader supports multiple card formats including the newer high-capacity SDXC. I'm sure this would be awesome for someone working in a photo lab or similar but I never understood the appeal of these for most people. Every device I have that uses a media card also has a USB connector.

The design looks good, well except for the odd red "Kingston". I guess they really want their brand name to stand out.
