The Ipod fits many needs.

If you WANT TO work full time, you need to turn off the mobile... or throw it away. (depending on your job, and if you are the BOSS or just a little prawn)

During our winter hours I work on average 45 hours a week, and during summer about 60. And that will probably go up.

I used to carry two cells, mine and work, and one morning while I was sitting in a nice restaurant having coffee, they BOTH started ringing. People started looking over at me, and as soon as I got off the first phone and called back the second person, the first one went off again.

I gave my cell back then, and left the other one at home untill it was needed for work.

I have built houses that cost into the millions, been supervisor over 8 people direcly not counting the sub contractors and homeowners, going over plans, helping with the bid process, and drawing, and all by the time I was 20.

I no longer care for it, I am 26 and make less, but have more free time and fewer responsibilitys except my family and the occasional issue.

The one thing that disturbs me about the iPod itself is actually the software... most iPod owners I've met aren't running iTunes under OS X, they're running it under Windows. And that's not a platform it thrives on. However, alternatives such as Red Chair Software's Anapod Explorer exist and if that's not enough, there's always Rockbox. Personally, I'm too lazy for having a seperate app to sync my player, which is why I have a cheap little 128Mb Creative MuVo. *shrug* whatever rings your bell I suppose

Funny that the PS3 AND ASUS have been mentioned though, ASUS build the PCBs for Sony *chuckle*

The iPhone is not sounding quite as... well... spectacular as some have been making it out though. I sure won't be lining up to replace the old Nokia any time soon.

If it included Coco you can't stop third party.... You can program it yourself.... And anytime they write something to stop it from happening, someone comes up with a way to undo that anyways...

There are some professions... such as say, IT admin, that require you to ALWAYS have a VERY rapid form of communication. Either pager, or cell phone.

An hour of downtime can mean MILLIONS. :eek:
