Hey all,
I have a Sapphire x1950 gt or xt, something like that.. anyways,
I ran ATI Tool, and hit Find Max Core, it goes up until my system crashes/reboots itself.
So, I went up in increments - but I am unsure what is safe or not for my system.
The stock is 513 and I put it to 540, idles around 50-60 and during 3d games can go up to 80-90
The memory was increased from the default 640 I think to 680 or something.. but I am still unsure what is safe or unsafe, since I am doing it manually... Also sometimes when I move the core slider up, it will go back down to where I moved it from and not change ... it took me 3 or 4 times moving it to 540 from 513 until it actually stuck..
I have 2 side fans in the computer, one in the back, one on the chip and the stock cooling on the gaming card..
anyone shed some light on this?
