Hey guys this is my first post over here, and I need some help.

Back in june I tried to flash my HD4850 with a new bios but I choosed a wrong one then I got my VGA bricked.

Days later I did some search over the web looking for a bios for the SAPPHIRE HD4850 512MB GDDR5 and I found no bios and realised that this VGA is quite 'rare' :(, so If any of you guys over there own or have a bios for this card, please give me some help.

Are you sure it has DDR5? One of the only differences between the 4850 and 4870 is that the 4870 uses DDR5 instead. In-fact, you might be able to simply use a 4870 bios assuming your card can handle stock 4870 clocks of 750 core and 900 memory.

Sure thing it has DDR5. I'll try doing that, thanks!

EDIT:

Tried using a Sapphire 4870 Bios with 750/900, no good. I think I'll give up on this card. D:

Try to call technical support and ask them for the stock bios. Just tell'e em that you ordered the card over the web and it came with this weird problem and some wise people from this forum here suggested to flash the original bios on the card to make it work again. And that this is your last hope before sending it back. Just push the tears a little bit and tell them you want to play BF3 so badly. Most likely they are going to sent it to you.

Have your serial number available before you call. It did work with XFX.

Good Luck Dude
