Hey there, so I was taking my computer over to a buddies and it ended up flipping over when I stopped my car one time. This has happened before, so I was hoping everything was alright, so I got to his house, and it wouldn't post. Once I got home I tried an old motherboard and an old video card to test out if one of them got damaged. Still nothing, so does anyone else have any suggestions? Or is it most likely that the CPU was what got damaged? (I don't have another CPU laying around unfortunately)

A complete disassembe/reassemble should help find whatever got messed up/disconnected.

I did do two of those, the only thing that stayed the same was the cpu, the ram, and the power supply, and I am getting power to the rig

Yes I did, It'd be magic if I switched the motherboards without re-seating the CPU in the process haha ;) But yeah, I reseated everything multiple times, and nothing appears to be damaged. No pins out of place on the CPU, no plastic broken on anything else

it is wierd i mean wish you had a diff cpu to try.. the reason i asked about reseating the cpu is when i mess with my system changing parts sometimes it doesnt post and i have to take cooler off and reseat the cpu...but on 2 boards that leaves you with cpu being the problem or maybe the ram..

Yeah, the more I try to figure it out, the more it just points to the CPU being the issue, thanks though, hopefully when I get a new CPU everything will work just fine.

Or I'll just declare that computer dead and move on. haha ;)
