New to the Forums here and was looking to get some troubleshooting advice. Hope this is in the right forum, was not sure which was most appropriate. I did my first build about a year ago and my rig as never really been what I would call stable. . .

System Specs are in my profile.

I bassically would get these occasional BSOD's, all of which were memmory management related. When I first started getting these I tried to run windows off of a WD HDD to rule out a problem withe my SSD, but still got the BSOD, also ran memtest on each sim in every slot to rule out faulty motherboard but had 0 errors with any sim in any location. Since it was always ocasional I just kindof lived with the annoyance.

Couple days ago while playing swtor I heard this kindof buzz/beep and then blackscreen. After that I couldn't boot up into windows off my SSD. Didn't have too many vital programs/info so just took the easy way out and used HDDErase, with a clean install. Updated all my Drivers and Have not had a BSOD yet while in windows. However when I go to play swtor now I have a crazy amount of shaking and occasionally the bottom portion of my screen (lower 1/4) will turn a solid color, making the game unplayable.

Everything I have read online with similiar graphics problems point to graphic cards overheating. . . although nothing really has changed since my games ran flawlessly, Checked temps in GPU-Z and they are the same now as they were before. One thing that had always concerned me which is why I never overclocked my gpu's was that on the msi big bang xpower the audio card sits VERY close to my first graphics card (Pretty much pressed Against it) and both will become hot to the touch. GPU-Z gives me temps around 65 degrees C under load, which is about 10 degrees hotter then the graphics card that is not right up against the audio card.

Not sure how much of this info is needed, but I pretty much tried to give as much detail as I could with my limited knowlege base. Any troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated because I don't even know where to begin :ohwell:

Check for dust buildup in your heatsinks on the cards- it's possible that they are clogged up causing some heat issues.

Isolation approach may help you deal with it.
Start with RAM then GPU.

Sorry for the silence, came down with the flu and schoolwork didn't have much time to play games/mess around with my comp. I really don't think it is a temperature problem, Has been running at about the same temperature since it was new. I mean is 70 degrees C under load a problem for the "hot" card?

Started getting the BSOD's again - below is detail information and minidump log if anyone can make sense of that. It is a Memmory_Management BSOD.

If I changed the slots the Cards would be in an x8 config instead of x16. According to the user manual it has to be in the slots they are now for the x16 speed. Perfermance gains from what I have read say it is minimal, any opionions here?

I have also heard that performance gains are minimal so at the very least I would give it a try just to check since losing 1-3% of performance is better than random BSOD.
