Sierra games got me into PC gaming...Hero's/Space/King's Quest, the Laura Bow games, Leisure Suit Larry, man I loved them all. :p

DEFINITELY. King's Quest 5 did it for me.

However I think it was 1980 that I played Oregon Trail in my elementary school...

Hell yea. The Oregon Trail was so leet. I played the 1992 Macintosh version of it, best part of my day when I was in 3rd grade :D

So many hours lost to SimTower...

And I actually just got the urge to play Flashback again a few weeks ago, but my genesis broke, I never knew it was on PC!

....all of these games have nostalgic rings, which are hollow if you actually listen to them.

Well-stated, and true for many old games, though not all.

My Amiga 1200 just has a 1230 @ 50Mhz and 8Mb of ram but its perfect for what I use it for.. I do have a hard drive but its not even using 1/10th of what the total space is!! I've got my Workbench disks here somewhere. I do miss my PPC Amiga I had but its not the end of the world, as long as I can play on The Settlers and Indyheat I don't mind!! :)

Cannon Fodder, now there's a game I defo remember!! And Quake!! I think I have all of those but Fifa 95!! But then I think I might have something like that for the Mega Drive somewhere!!

SimAnt was a good game too. And I did get a 5-Star tower a long time ago when I was in high school...
SimIsle is probably my favorite. It's not very common/popular though. It was the first Sim title I played that really made you think. Had good music too.

I'm pretty sure SimIsle works fine on Windows 7 too.
