Processor should be better, graphics is quite a lot worse but on a whole you should be able to game pretty well on that system. Enjoy your new purchase :toast:

Little over $1300 after shipping. Stuff like this I prefer to buy straight from the manufacturer so price might be a little higher then retailers.

With a laptop that powerful I'd only be concerned about battery life and whether you can use the bottom as a griddle. :D

I actually just bought an i7-2670QM for my HTPC.

It should be able to handle most games decently well. I wish companies allowed you to get weaker CPU's and better GPU's. I'd rather have an i5 with GTX560m than an i7 with a GTX540m...

I have a AthlonX2 2.1Ghz with 4570M, processor gets bottlenecked in games like Starcraft II while graphics gets bottlenecked in most other games. If you look hard enough, you will usually find laptops which balance things out a bit more. MSI GT6x0 series does offer i5's with 6970M/GT560M, so check them out.

actually it looks like his has both an i7 and gtx560... in that case you could sell the i7 and buy an i5 if you don't mind voiding the warranty lol

I personally hate the idea of stick anything higher then a dual-core in a laptop, but looks good. Keep in mind I guess Toshiba's run a little on the hot side so maybe invest in a laptop cooling stand. But it is totally up to you.
