I currently have an Antec 900(see specs). I need recommendations on smaller cases, what is the smallest case I could go and still fit everything while maintaining cooling?

My NZXT Tempest 410 can hold a lot of components! It also has its own RAD box at the top so the RAD does not have to be inside or outside of the case :)

You might have trouble fitting your motherboard is anything smaller than an ATX mid-tower. Unless your willing to invest in a micro-atx motherboard you might be stuck with other similarly sized chassises. I'm not seeing a whole lot of cases that are anything less than 1 inch taller than what you have now without dropping full sized ATX board support.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need a smaller case than the 900? It's not that big of a case for what it encloses.

I currently have my case sitting on my desk. My desk is pretty big and the case doesn't interfere with anything but is an eyesore. Just wanting something smaller with a cleaner look.

How about a case that's about the same size but is cleaner looking... maybe a lian li or a fractal design case could satisfy your needs... would also depend on how you define a "clean look"... :)

I'd go for the Define R3... I ordered the Mini version for a micro-ATX build which should be arriving in a week or so... the 550D would also be a good choice... :)

If you are looking for a clean and bang for buck case, definitely go for the Fractal Design R3. Used one when I built a computer for my friend who wanted a clean/silent build and it worked great! lots of room for internals, only drawback would be extremely long GPU's like a GTX590/ HD6990. Also the cable management is great if your into that sorta thing!

I honestly believe you wouldn't be disappointed. Good luck!

Yes both the 6950 and the 7950 both fit within the R3. The max card lenght in the R3 is 29cm and the 7950 is 27cm and I do believe the 6950 is the same. So you have a few cm to spare. :)
