186 processor with a math co processor. 4MB of ram, 50MB hard drive, and to show off how versatile it can be, I am installing both kinds of storage- 3.5 AND 5 1/4 floppy disks!! Man this thing is going to SMOKE my old PET computer, it'll kick a tandy around like a puppy. :respect: Also, it's running DOS 5.0! man I can't wait to play some games...

R-type? I think that will work on the 186. What other games are you thinking of?

"pique" perhaps? as in "pique your interest"?

solitaire is windows 3.0. You can't run windows 3.0 on a 186. You need a 286. Due to memory management design.

I thought the 387 was the first math coprocessor? Wasn't everything before that just FPU?

Anyway, ditch DOS 5.0, use 6.22, it has a lot less irritations. Comes with various handy tools that 5.0 lacks as well.

Heh I got a smokin Atari X80 I think it is with 512k of RAM! oo baby be jealous!

I also just found a 286 12mhz 386 16mhz and a 486 DX4 100! WhoopTA!
And 8mb of ram.. Lol wonder what else I have sitting around here....

Math Co Processor days though, thats pretty old.. I miss those systems.. I remember the day I went from a 486 dx66 to my dx4 100 omg! And then my next step was a PENTIUM! MMX 166! It was the holy friggen grail! After that was my UBER K6 233 and then a K6-2 450!

Monster 3d video card 16mb on board with my 16mb add on card for 32mb of PCI video ram!

Ohh the memories..

1./ I've got a Promise ISA caching controller with memory slots. You can put a huge cache behind your HDD. It'sa big speed up. PM your offer.

2./ I've got an ISA ethernet 10/100 card... so you can link your monster to LAN and play CounterStrike and other online games

3./ I've got an ISA sound card in case you need to make your monster ROCK

4./ Need a better GPU? I could go looking...

What was that long slot in the old IBM Ps2 mainboards.... It wasn't an ISA...But I can't remember what it was... I was always looking for a sound card for that stupid thing!

Anyways I have a 2400 baud modem! :) External weighs about 2lbs.. lol
