If it wasnt enough to convince that guy on ebay to leave his G15 for one then im not too sure if id be happy.

we shall find out closer to the end of the week anyhoo. opted for free shipping as i didnt want to pay more ontop.

How do you feel now after actually having used the board?

I have a Zowie Celeritas which was £115 which at the time was the going rate for a mechanical keyboard; i had to factor in that i wanted Cherry MX Browns and UK ISO layout which ruled out a lot of boards. A lot of cheaper boards use MX Blacks like the Steelseries 6G. I fucking love mechanical boards, they made me realise a £10 logitech rubber dome is just as good as a logitech G15, in key press feel and quality.

You could of done what I did, get a daskeyboard model s ultimate silent and not worry about lighting because there are no markings! Love this keyboard. I've gamed with it too, no problem.

not actually gamed with it yet. probably wont get to tonight as i need to be up pretty early tomorrow.

as far as web browsing goes its alright except for the fact that i have to learn to hit the keys more lightly so i make less noise and type faster.

I'll get used to it soon enough. not saying i hate it but theres a big difference coming off 'laptop' scissor switches

Maybe Freedom would find it interesting that blank keyboards are also known "Otaku" keyboards. For reference, keyboards without num pads are known as "tenkeyless".

Yeah i would expect so, there's a bit of a difference in force and key height. Took me a while to get used to the feel just going from normal boards. I do like the look of the Corsair K90, looks like a friggin solid board for the money.

I went from a G19 to a Razer black widow ultimate and haven't looked back since. Don't know why so many people say razer keyboards are bad....have owned the BWU for 4-5 months now and it's been a blast to type on

(kinda loud but no one in my household minds so it's alright xD)

I stuck an Apple keyboard on my PC a few years ago. You need to create your own keyboard to map a few keys using MSKLC.exe (Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator) which is fun. It was so popular at home we have done this "upgrade" to all the PC's at home, and also in the office. These flat keyboards take 2 or 3 days to get used to... but then they are very fast to type on, and there is NO wrist or arm strain because your hand/wrist rests on the table top and keys get to the keys easily.

well... After much chewing the fat on the matter and getting butt raped while playing some GvG in guild wars because I healed the other person and not myself because my "F" button decided not to work I have decided to go with a Corsair K90.

luckily enough, there is a secondhand one on ebay

the keyboard costs around £95 for a new one. so I may look into getting it, He's claimed he only used it for two months and is selling as he still prefers his Logitech G15. the auction is currently sitting at £30.

I reckon its worth looking into, but id prefer if i bought it brand new so I can claim to be the first one to use and abuse it

What do you guys think? worth bidding on the auction or just jump straight to buying a new one?
Im gonna message the guy and see if he's still got the receipt, If he has then i'll bid for it

Tbh, I have a lot more fun using the keyboard for shooters then mmorpgs, its just so responsive!
