Here's what I got:

What could be better?

And here's the site I'm working with: http://www.umart.com.au/newindex2.phtml?bid=5

The build is for a teenager, so bigger specs = better. And of course he wants a shiny/cool looking case.

Go! Go! Go! Go! :toast:

Nope, nope, nope, nope. I assumed that that was implied, given the build I posted.

personally I would get a cheaper case and PSU and ask him if he really needs an optical drive... use a usb or steam/origin ffs.

then upgrade to a decent amd 7850, and OC that boy in CCC to max.

ok i'm in the uk and basing the build on this exchange rate....650 US dollars = 409.9394 British pounds sterling

what i found out trying to pick this build for you is how brand loyal ive become...

i prefere certain setups and cases as ive used them and most of the others in the hundreds of builds ive come across.

ive gone over your budget, which is a bit of a facepalm in itself...

so have a look and see what you could switch out...

i couldnt bring myself to change anything else as this is what i'd recommend on this day...

remember haswell will be here next year and whatever you choose will be seen as obsolete...

but i'd quite like this machine...

surely you can find a cheaper motherboard, you won't be overclocking most likely, try to get rid of the optical drive again, and if his budget is 650 and you only spent 608 there, do what I just mentioned and get him a 7850 and oc it all the way over in CCC.

he will prob be able to game anything he wants at 1080p for the most part.
