Upgrading from gtx 295 soon!!!

Need TPU's opinion.. I'm getting ready to upgrade to a newer video card wondering if I should got with a 7970 ghz ed. or a gtx 680.. I've been looking at reviews only thing that the gtx 680 has over the 7970 ghz so far is physx and cuda cores.

It depends on what you do with your PC. The GTX 680 is super efficient and just plain awesome. The HD7970 is more for brute force overclocking or pushing huge resolutions.

You have waited this long, I'd wait a couple more months for 8900 series and GTX 680 price cuts.

I don't know anyways thanks i game a 2560x1600 and so far the 7970 ghz seems like the better deal

7970 3GB is the better option I believe. Whether its GHz Edition or not a simple overclock will fix most of the difference.
