BEHRINGER is now shipping its EUROLIVE B115D and B115MP3 active 2-way loudspeakers. Designed to deliver instantly a superb sound quality for all kinds of musicians and artists in nearly any live sound situation, the new systems feature an integrated dual-channel mixer with 2-band EQ, built-in sound processor and 1,000 Watts of Class-D bi-amplification-and weigh only 38.9 lbs. / 17.7 kg each.

Fast and easy to setup - the unique enclosure design allows them to be pole-mounted, stacked, or placed horizontally for floor monitor wedge applications. A dedicated USB-style 3.0 input provides seamless integration with BEHRINGER's new upcoming ULTRALINK Series wireless microphones, for two channels of supremely stable, natural-sounding wireless performance.

B115D and B115MP3's custom-engineered 15" long-excursion LF driver delivers deep powerful bass, while the state-of-the-art 1.35" aluminum-diaphragm compression driver provides exceptional high-frequency reproduction. As the name suggests, the B115MP3 boasts an extra feature-a fully addressable embedded MP3 player. The 8-button user interface and high-contrast, multi-function LCD panel allows the user to instantly browse tracks and select shuffle, repeat or single-play modes. Both models are covered by BEHRINGER's 3-year limited warranty.

These are active speakers, which means they can be connected to a PC directly (without an amp) and serve as very decent desktop speakers. They also have digital sound input, which is great, because many desktop speakers don't.

Holy shit, 99% of "desktop" speakers have amps built in. Only the the bottom of the barrel $5 jobbies from rite aid dont have amps.

These speakers are not meant for dwsktop systems, but they might do well hooked up to my android phone!

Im pretty sure many surround sound pc speaker systems have digital inputs, either coax or toslink (optical).

Behringer is the worst china brand in PA. It is a nightmare...

This thing has ZERO connection with production... it is a mere cheapish china like PA for small cafe/pub like places...

I know. My post was not aimed at you but the others who replied. I see these more as small club or bar speakers. I don't think karaoke parties at home are as popular as companies seem to think they are. As for them being good as desktop speakers or for music production. Come on. You people probably have never seen one of these types of speakers in person. I have, from many brands and they are huge beasts. Maybe you were thinking of something like this:

Now those are good monitors from Behringer for desktop use and music production.
The speakers in this article are 4 times the size of those!
