Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. ("Mad Catz") announced today shipping of the new range of licensed Halo 4 gaming headsets under the TRITTON brand for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Each headset in the range features themed Halo 4 graphics and bonus downloadable content (DLC).

Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. stated, "Halo 4 is one of the most anticipated titles of this holiday season and we're pleased to be offering passionate gamers high quality experience with our range of exclusive, TRITTON licensed Xbox 360 headsets."

Frank O'Connor, the Franchise Development Director at 343 Industries stated, "It was a pleasure to find an audio solution that not only ticked all the boxes of ease of use, fidelity, immersion and quality, but also to find a partner willing to work with us to create a product that fit beautifully into designs that span the entirety of the Halo 4 aesthetic."

Products available as part of the range include the Halo 4 Trigger Stereo Headset (with bonus 'United Nations Space Command' (UNSC) Logo T-Shirt DLC) and the Halo 4 Warhead 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset (with bonus 'Forward Unto Dawn' Animated Prop DLC). That wireless headset does look pretty good. I'd really like a wireless headset that performed well but I've yet to be impressed to the point where I actually dump the crazy amount of money they want for them.

Lol, I posted this without even seeing the price for that wireless offering, it's $329.99 US, no thanks.

Price seems awfully high for what they are, I wonder what size the drivers are.

Looks awesome, If they were in a normal range of around $120 I could see someone actually getting them
