I'm building ground up so ill need everything.
I just sold my old PC and if you could just list below some parts in your opinion that have performed stellar for you, that would be great!:toast:
BTW: I'm planning on spending the whole thing so don't worry about whats cheaper and whats not.

You need a monitor to go with it? If not, what monitor are you using?

You could just rebuild your exact same setup for less money and pocket the 500 leftover.

Meh, just buy pretty much the same thing again, only get a Titan instead of two cards and possibly swap out the Sabertooth for a Gigabyte UD5 to save some cash.

Is the titan worth the buy? I honestly think 2 cards perform more consistently but i've never used the titan sooo

Single card setups will always perform more consistently than multiple card setups. If you can afford it, Titan is the way to go. If you're just using one 1080p screen though, it is overkill. I figured since you're using Nvidia you would want to stick with it. But for 1080p, a 7970 is much less expensive, will easily run any game and you get a few free games with it.

So this is what's in my cart ATM I'm confused on what to do with the cooling because i had the H80i and it was really noisy so the h50i isn't really serious I'm just contemplating. Let me know what you think and the Titan could be a possibility

You don't really need sli 680's for a single 1080p monitor. I prefer single cards... generally a much smoother experience.

A single 7970 will give you all the performance you need, I'm just running one on a 1440p monitor, I could use a Titan I suppose but price isn't worth it to me. If you're dead set on Nvidia and you don't want to shell out $1000 bucks for a Titan, just go with one GTX 680 for now... I think you'll be more than happy with it, more so than the SLi setup you had.

The H50 will be fine if you want to run around 4ghz. They aren't very strong, especially with hot Ivy Bridge chips.

Alrighty, Sounds good if they aren't that strong do you recommend something else? Well currently i have 2 1920x1080 asus monitors but so should i snag 2 7970s? I've read reviews and heard they actually perform better than 600 series and no, I'm not dead set on Nvidia i'll dabble with other brands infact i would love to try the 7000 series but for some reason i am dead set on SLI/crossfire i don't why. I think its just the way it looks haha honestly i know that sounds awful but it's the truth

Agreed on the Titan, if you manage to get a good chip it can run at 1150Mhz and it simply destroys every dual GPU setup around, for now, of course still doesn't match them on raw fps but you are sure it'll work every single game.

My philosophy is, get the best single GPU and if it isn't enough buy two of them.

A bit flawed with Titan pricing, I know.

ALSO, SLI is very good and smooth ATM, I can tell that they worked hard on its implementation since the GTX 480 (my last nVidia gpu before Titans)

I can't fathom why you sold your pc to buy something better, honestly!

What I can suggest, budget permitting, would be to go for a similar system as you already had. Forgo the SLI or CF, both don't scale well, just get the best single GPU card you can afford, then get 3 of these beauties :)

For the money I would go for SLI 680s 4gb. Titan is not worth the money, crossfire is not reliable.
As far as cooling goes... Do you really want closed loop? High-end air is not an option?

Where are you in New York ? You could hit up Microcenter and save $100 on that 3770K.

I have BRIEFLY tried ATI 79x0 series and I wouldn't be honest if I tried to give you feedback.

All I can say is that I've only had issues and very few joys with CFX since 3870x2->4870x2-5970-6990 (quite bit of experience heh) so if it was my purchase I'd be cautious to go ATI for multi GPU systems.

EDIT : Just saw the list you posted. Seems fine to me, just pick a Titan instead of two 680s.

I got two 120Gb SSDs for RAID-0 and I find that 240Gb is barely enough to give myself enough overhead for wear leveling after installing everything I use and such. I strongly recommend at least a 240Gb SSD and in most cases RAID-0 is unnecessary as well so unless you need it or want to splurge, I don't recommend it (although copying a VM image at 500MB/s to the same drive (RAID) is pretty awesome.)

Other than that it looks like a nice rig.
