Hi guys!

So i have just decided to build a new gaming rig, since mine is getting a little too old.

The computer will be mainly to play games like BF3/BF4, Crysis 3, Dayz, WoW etc.

I will overclock (nothing too serious, 4.3GHZ maybe), but not for now, in the future i will buy an aftermarket cooler, when i decide to do so.

I already have all peripherals, bought a Asus VG248QE (144hz) last month.

My Budget is around 1400 dollars as the title says.

I've been in the internet reading reviews and stuff and i ended up with this config:

Case: Zalman Z11 ............................................... 59.99

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k .................................... 239.99

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero .................... 229.99

RAM: Gskill Sniper DDR3-1600mhz 2x4GB ............ 69.99

Graphics Card: Asus GTX 770 DirectCU II .................409.99

PSU: Corsair TX 650W V2......................................89.99

Disk: Samsung 840 pro 256 GB ............................249.99

Total: .................................................. ............. 1349 $

What do you guys think ?

Cheers

I only choose the asus board because i'm planing in staying with it for a long time, i will only change MB when the 4670k becomes a bottleneck( which i hope will take a long time, 5 years or so), and because of that I would like to have a reliable one.

Just make sure the board you choose has all the features/expansion slots you need, other than that they will all almost the same (within 100mhz of each other).
