Alright. Nvidia makes some nice chipsets, and Id like to see how this stacks up to ATIs offering. I Can say one thing for the competition between ATI and Nvidia. It sure does make some excellent products come about. I love 1 upsmanship in the pc world!

I know that this motherboard does not support it am3 CPU's http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/cpu_support.php?S_ID=182 but what I want to know...

1. Is there a possibility of this motherboard supporting am3 cpu's? (since am3 cpu's have ddr2 and ddr3 ram controllers)
2. (if 1 is true) Do you think Biostar will update the bios to support am3 cpu's? (I'm assuming no)

Oh and yes I was stupid enough to buy a am3 Athlon II since it said on the pricelist it works in am2 motherboards  (not checking the motherboards site first... was a spirit of the moment thing). For the past 2 months I've tried to find some that wants to upgrade from am2 to am3 so we could just trade cpu's... no luck... Looks like I have to buy a new motherboard and possibly ram too :ohwell:
