I think if this screen had a uber 144Hz IPS display it would cost a sh!tload. So I don't really see why there should be that much hate towards it. Although I will admit the 1080p resolution is a bit disappointing.

Well it is a low resolution for the size. Pixel density is important, and it is getting more important. A couple of years ago I thought 2560x1440 27 inchers would be commonplace by now, but noooooooo.
