Tried them on Windows 7 x64 and they work without any modifications despite the fact they have only Win8.1 in the name...

My guess is they are currently focusing on the development of next gen consoles. Considering they will be making hardware for both Microsoft and Sony camps, they probably have their hands full at the moment. I'm willing to bet we will see some HUGE advancement on drivers for 7xxx series and the next gen of AMD cards closer to PS4/xbone launches.

They've already addressed a LOT of issues with current games, seems to have been the focus, now that's done with they are looking at less critical issues and at least still focusing on them, what's your point you sound butthurt :slap:

I have two very different rigs with 7 series cards and I don't have a single issue. Not one.

Wait a minute FManiac, do you not feel like maybe this is the calm before the storm? Aren't AMD set to release their GCN optimizing/CrossFire fixing drivers in 8 days? Pretty sure that driver is supposed to be all about gaming-wide improvements...

Even if you don't feel like that, you're acting like they've been idle with providing performance boosts or bug fixes in games for a long while, when clearly they haven't been. 13.5 was in May, and that's the worst case scenario if 13.6 Beta1 didn't have game related improvements which I thought it did before the page was updated to 13.6 Beta2. Might have imagined that, bah whatever.

A 2 month gap in Summer for a specific type of improvement, not improvements in general, is hardly worth declaring a lack of support for game improvement. If you click through the 100 entries of Steam's current "New Releases" list -a decent bellwether for "current" games- the only 3 games that would meet your checklist for worthy support are CoH2, Remember Me and Metro Last Light; and only the last of those 3 would benefit drastically from a performance boost. The other 2 play just fine.

I dunno man, I realize you didn't exactly throw down the gauntlet with your statement, but I'm not seeing anything -even circumstantial- worth being concerned about.

I do however see July 31st on the horizon. And I'm smiling. Might be overhyped but I'm an optimist.

So they finally improved this:
- Maya 2011-2013 – Various visual corruptions issues have been resolved
- Maya 2011-2013 – Mesh/Polygons selection performance has been improved

This problem has been around since the HD 5000 series. They fixed it mid last year but by fix I should say it was usable I switched to NVIDA simply because of this issue with AMD's drivers and Maya. Only took them 4 years to "improve performance" :shadedshu

Doom 3 BFG not working for me!! :s Its necesary install CAP1 13.5??

I would suggest using a different driver. If I remember correctly Doom 3 is OpenGL, and since this beta driver uses a new OpenGL.. well, I guess we'll have to wait till it's fixed or use a driver that works. :)

They've already designed the chips that are going into the consoles, and they don't fabricate them obviously. The Crossfire latency issue they're working on would be more of a distraction really.

As for the other comments including the all too tired "butthurt" remark, grow up people. I have my thoughts and you're reading far too much into them.
