what is the transmit power level

I have a wireless modem and it had the Transmit power level on medium 80mW
Now I switched it to high 100mW
Is that something I should be worried and what are the benefits?

That is the power to the signal amplifier you will get greater distance. I don`t think that is something that you should worry

From a network security standpoint, the optimal power setting would be just enough to reliably cover the area where client stations will be operating. But there is very much disagreement about power levels. And, manufacturers and models differ.
